The Geek Collection - in action

 

My computer designs have generated some interest, and therefore, I am going to expand on that by offering a new painting each day for 100 days for $100 with free S&H.  These paintings are printed as giclee prints, gallery wrapped, 8 x 10.  For larger sizes, please contact me.

As I was painting, the colors presented themselves as impressions of the Aurora Borealis, with their sumptuous, magnificent, heavenly hues, floating against a starry sky.

 

3/100 "Getting There" - 10 x 5
 

This is the first digital image I "painted" on my computer.  I was trying out the many features of the program, and was having some trouble coordinating them, but then, things seemed to just come together, hence, "Getting There."  I really love the color combinations here, peaceful yet energizing.

 

 

 

2/100 "Hades" - 10 x 8

When I put together some of the shapes and colors for this painting, it occurred to me that it looked much like the Biblical notion of Sodom and Gomorrah, hence, Hades.

 

 

1/100 "Come Fly With Me" - 10 x 8

The whooping crane images are actually a watercolor painting I had done.  I cut out these images and placed them into this painting.
